Swanson Gloria; in The Trespasser 1929.

SKU: Swanson, Gloria; Photo $59.95
Minor edge wear to top left corner and bottom corners. Gloria Swanson's personality and presence was larger-than-life and her glamour was exactly what audiences of the 1920s were looking for. She became one of the most popular screen goddesses of all time and is absolutely stunning on this repainted print. Starring in her first talking picture, she was a hit playing a wronged woman, who takes the high road and gives up the love of her life, enduring heartache and hardship as she raises their son alone. This was an important film for Swanson as it was the first of only two "talkie" hits. The other was the classic "Sunset Boulevard." Ernest Bachrach was the photographer for "The Trespasser" publicity.
