Habaki measures: 2.6cm. long: 2.2cm. deep: .1cm. top sekikane: .7cm. bottom sekigane. Koiguchi measures: 3.8cm dia.: 2.1cm. dia.: .6cm. deep. Seppa measure: 2.8cm. long: .6cm. bottom sekigane: .15cm. top sekigane. All Measurements are ''outside.'' The seppa are spacersthat fit astride the Tsuba. Their function is to allow for minor adjustments and insure overall tightness of the Tsuka to the blade. The habaki is sleeve or collar usually made of metal that slides over the tang nakago of the sword blade. The habaki helps secure the sword blade into the scabbard saya it also keeps the hand guard tsuba in place. The koiguchi is the mouth of the scabbard or saya of a Japanese sword. The blade of a sword is returned to the saya through the koiguchi.
